The Hendersonville Rotary Club awarded its monthly Youth Merit Scholar Awards to Beech High School seniors, Lauren Winters and Parker Henry, who were introduced by Rotarian Michele Owens.
In addition to the Youth Merit Scholar awards, the Hendersonville Rotary Club supports Sumner County education in a number of other ongoing projects including Educator of the Month award, Scholarships to Volunteer State Community College, the Wally Nichols Memorial Scholarship, mentoring at-risk students, weekend backpack programs, Dictionaries for Third Graders, Wheels In Motion, Rotary Youth Exchange, RYLA, Interact, Rotaract, and COMPASS.
